Day 1 : Johannesburg

Upon arrival in Johannesburg, the economic capital of South Africa, you will explore this dynamic and contrasting city with a local guide. You will then visit the Lesedi Cultural Village for an authentic immersion into the traditions, dances, and lifestyle of several African communities.

Day 2 : Johannesburg - Graskop

Departure towards the spectacular Blyde River Canyon, one of the world’s deepest, stretching over 26 km and offering breathtaking views. Highlights include the famous Three Rondavels overlooking the Blydepoort Dam, as well as the Bourkes’ Luck Potholes, remarkable rock formations carved by the river over thousands of years.

Day 3 : Graskop - Hazyview

Visit the Lisbon Falls, beautiful waterfalls set in lush vegetation, perfect for a nature break and memorable photos. Continue to the historic village of Pilgrims Rest, a former 19th-century gold rush town offering a preserved heritage and authentic atmosphere. In the afternoon, depart for Hazyview to visit an elephant sanctuary and learn more about their behavior and trusting relationship with their caretakers.

Day 4 : Hazyview - Kruger Park - Hazyview

Early morning departure for a 4x4 safari in Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest wildlife reserves. Officially established in 1926, this iconic park spans over 20,000 km² and is home to an exceptional variety of wildlife, including the famous Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, rhinoceros, and buffalo. The safari continues until mid-afternoon.

Day 5 : Hazyview - Pretoria - Johannesburg

Morning drive to Pretoria and Johannesburg. You will discover Pretoria, South Africa’s administrative capital, known as the “Jacaranda City,” with its tree-lined avenues and rich heritage. Highlights include Paul Kruger’s House and the Union Buildings, a symbol of the new South Africa.

Day 6 : Johannesburg

Visit the Apartheid Museum, showcasing the rise and fall of racial segregation in South Africa through immersive media and powerful testimonies. Day 7 : Johannesburg > Cape Town

Transfer to Johannesburg airport for a domestic flight to Cape Town. Explore the city, known as “The Mother City,” where modern towers blend with Edwardian, Victorian, and Cape Dutch architecture. Stroll through the colorful, cobbled streets of the Malay Quarter and visit the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, reflecting the city’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

Day 8 : Cape of Good Hope

Boat tour from Hout Bay to Duiker Island, home to Cape fur seals and seabirds, weather permitting. Drive along the scenic Chapman's Peak route, with steep cliffs and Atlantic views. Stop at Boulders Beach to see the African penguins, then explore the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and Cape Point, renowned for their wildlife, flora, and legendary history. Return to Cape Town.
